Ever since it was promoted in 1982, VPCP's path to success has been arduous, but the dynamism and foresightedness of its TEAM has enabled it to carve a niche of its own in the local and international market.

To-day, we have the distinction of being one of the major producers and exporters of BROMHEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE, TIMOLOL MALEATE and AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE and also your most competitive source for the same, within India as well as overseas.

VPCP successfully commissioned its manufacturing unit, in 1985, with the drug intermediate, 3,4,5-TRIMETHOXY BENZALDEHYDE, used in the manufacture of bulk drugs, TRIMETHOPRIM, a staticobacterial. In 1990, VPCP, successfully embarked on an expansion programme for manufacture of bulk drugs. After in-house Research & Development, VPCP introduced bulk drug BROMHEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE, a mucolytic agent, in 1991, introduced TIMOLOL MALEATE, a beta-adrenoceptor antagonist; anti-glaucoma agent, and in the year 2000 AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE, an enhanced mucolytic agent was introduced.

In keeping with its progressive outlook, VPCP cherishes its successes with a view to increase share in the overseas market, and establishing its place in the ranks of International Pharmaceuticals Producers.

VPCP PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES :
Guided by personnel of a high calibre and expertise and the spirit of team work, VPCP has recorded a significant growth in output. The last decade has seen us emerge as the largest producer of BROMHEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE within India and also the major producer of TIMOLOL MALEATE and AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE. At present VPCP manufactures 4 TPM of BROM-HEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE, 50 Kgs per month of TIMOLOL MALEATE and 2 TPM of AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE. To satisfy the burgeoning demand for these products we have installed capacities of 100 kgs per month of TIMOLOL MALEATE, and 3 TPM of AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE.
